Mission
The Culture and Communication Studies program aims to educate individuals equipped with an interdisciplinary approach in the fields of culture and communication. The program’s purpose is to develop students’ abilities to think culturally, conduct analysis, and communicate effectively.
Thanks to the bilingual structure and applied education model of the Turkish-German University, the Culture and Communication Studies Department operates in a manner that meets both academic and professional standards. Combining theoretical knowledge with practice, the program is committed to training qualified individuals in media, intercultural communication, and social sciences.
Vision
The Culture and Communication Studies Department offers a four-year undergraduate program spanning eight semesters, aiming to equip students with advanced German and English language skills, foundational knowledge of communication and cultural theories, history, social sciences, and professional competencies.
The program stands out through its bilingual courses in German and Turkish, international exchange and internship opportunities, and a project-based educational approach. Graduates find employment in diverse fields such as media, arts, cultural management, tourism, corporate communication, and education. The department’s graduate programs provide opportunities for academic careers.
