Partner University

The partner university of the Department of Cultural Studies at Turkish-German University is the University of Passau, one of the respected higher education institutions in Germany. Since 2021, the academic planning and coordination of the undergraduate education program have been carried out under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Alexander Werth, Chair of the German Linguistics Department at the University of Passau.

This collaboration with the University of Passau provides our students with the opportunity to gain international academic experience while expanding our department’s scientific and cultural interaction network. Within this framework, students who meet certain academic requirements can qualify for the DAAD - YÖK International Student Scholarship Program, granting them the right to study for an academic year at the University of Passau.

This partnership aims not only to deepen our students’ academic knowledge but also to enhance their cultural understanding and develop a multifaceted perspective.
