Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elif Posos Devrani and Research Assistant İrem Dölen Paid an Academic Visit to Munich on Behalf of Our Department

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayşe Elif Posos Devrani and Research Assistant İrem Dölen from the Department of Culture and Communication Sciences at Turkish-German University participated in an academic visit to Munich with the support of the Theo Münch Foundation between 2–5 June 2026, as part of a delegation that also included Prof. Dr. Müge Klein, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çiydem Çatak, and research assistants Zehra Halhallı, Umur Ejder Halhallı, Esra Erarslan, and Merve Ahter Dede from the Department of Business Administration.
During the program, academic meetings were held at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU), TUM International, and IU International University. The visits focused on strengthening international academic networks, exploring research collaboration opportunities, and exchanging ideas on current developments in higher education.
One of the key stops of the visit was IU International University, where participants exchanged information on the institution’s academic structure, educational activities, and research initiatives. Turkish-German University was introduced during the program, and Research Assistants İrem Dölen, Esra Erarslan, Merve Ahter Dede, and Umur Ejder Halhallı presented their research project entitled “The Impact of AI-Supported Career Counseling on Students’ Career Planning Processes: An Experimental Study.” The presentation was followed by discussions on the research findings and outcomes, as well as international academic cooperation, research opportunities, and recent developments in higher education.
The delegation also paid a visit to the Consulate General of the Republic of Türkiye in Munich, where meetings were held with Consul General Süalp Erdoğan and Education Attaché Dr. Akın Deveci. Discussions focused on the educational experiences of Turkish students in Germany, opportunities for inter-university cooperation, and ways to further strengthen academic relations.
