The Journal of Culture and Communication Sciences TALKİ of the Turkish-German University marked the beginning of the 2025–2026 academic year with an introductory meeting held on 25 September 2025. The meeting was attended by the Head of the Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Süreyya İlkılıç, the Journal Advisor, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Başak Kaptan Şiray, as well as research assistants and students from the department.
Editor-in-Chief Öğr. Sümeyye Seniye Köse provided information on the journal’s editorial workflow and the distribution of responsibilities, noting that the content for the new academic year would be prepared in Turkish and German, offering students opportunities for professional experience and teamwork.
During the meeting, the Founder of the Journal, Öğr. Onur Dermenci, also introduced TALKİ through the journal’s website. The meeting concluded with discussions on the journal’s periodic publication process and the contributions to be provided through international programs, followed by students’ preferences regarding their roles.
