The Faculty Academic General Assembly Meeting Was Held with the Participation of Our Department.
The Faculty Academic General Assembly Meeting was held on 10 September 2025. The meeting began with an opening address by Prof. Dr. Aysel Uzuntaş, Vice Rector of our University and Dean of our Faculty. In her opening speech, Prof. Dr. Aysel Uzuntaş shared evaluations regarding the faculty’s current activities and academic objectives.
The meeting agenda included program accreditation, the academic activities of departments, conference planning, and the current status of the ongoing double degree program initiatives. General evaluations were made regarding the Departments of Culture and Communication Sciences, Psychology, and Sociology.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of diversifying research colloquia and strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration.
In the final session, faculty members who were in Germany within the scope of the DAAD research program shared their experiences. The meeting concluded with an exchange of views and recommendations among the faculty members.
