Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayşe Elif Posos Devrani appeared as a guest on “Doğruluk Elçileri”,
broadcast on CNN Türk. The program, supported by the EU Delegation to Türkiye
and moderated by Prof. Dr. Nezih Orhon, focused on the experience of parenting in
the digital age.
The episode centred on the question ''Is it possible to protect children in the digital
world through restrictions or through guidance?'' Assoc. Prof. Dr. Posos Devrani
stressed that the focus of digital parenting should not be limited to screen time alone.
Drawing attention to the quality of content and the child's position in the digital
environment as determining factors, Devrani noted that responsibility in this area
cannot be placed solely on parents; technology companies, legislators, and the world
of education are also key actors in this equation.
