Dr. Büşra Fadim Sarıkaya, a faculty member of our department, has been awarded the title of Associate Professor by the Interuniversity Board.

In addition to the departmental meeting held on 04 February 2026, a celebration was
organized in honor of Dr. Büşra Fadim Sarıkaya, a faculty member of the Department of
Culture and Communication Sciences, on the occasion of her promotion to the rank of
Associate Professor.
The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Aysel Uzuntaş, the Head of
Department Assoc. Prof. Süreyya İlkılıç and academic staff members. Alongside the general
agenda items, the significance of academic promotion for scholarly productivity and
institutional development was emphasized, and Dr. Sarıkaya’s academic contributions to the
faculty were highlighted. The event concluded with expressions of good wishes and
congratulations.
