The Culture and Communication Studies student meeting took place on January 7, 2025, at the Creative Media Laboratory, led by Culture and Communication Studies students İlayda Nur Karacan, Ahmet Yusuf Yenituran, and Onur Dermenci, between 16:30 and 18:00. An online meeting was held on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 20:00 for students who were unable to attend for various reasons.
During the Tuesday meeting, the Department Head, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Süreyya İlkılıç, Dr. Muhammet Sait Duran, Dr. Başak Kaptan Şiray, and Research Assistant Muhammet Oğuzhan Güner provided students with information about the department and their own areas of expertise. Additionally, Research Assistant İrem Dölen and graduate Uğur Yönev shared their experiences regarding graduation processes and career opportunities, answering students' questions.
The online meeting on Friday featured Culture and Communication Studies alumni Su Efsane Akpınar, Ebru Duman, Kuban Başoğlu, and Mehmet Barkın Utku, who discussed their educational and professional journeys. The meeting concluded with a discussion between students and alumni about career and educational pathways.
